Have you ever been really fond of a story, hoped for some great feedback and then gotten almost nothing or the opposite result?
Or the other way around? Wrote something you were not happy with and then gotten praise upon praise?

I posted something I've been working on for a year and a half and I can't quite believe this is happening.

I did some more writing on chapter 21. Yuletide is still stuck. There's time yet today, so we'll see what I manage.

I'm still refreshing myself on canon for yuletide, and making notes so hopefully I can come up with a few ideas.

I wrote a poem in the style of a Classic Epic. I can't say I expected to write that today. Still nothing of any practical use though.

It upsets me when you write something for a rare pair/rare fandom and either no one reads it because it's so rare OR they say "good, but I wish you had included such-and-such a character" etc... X___X

I wrote a bit today. Nothing amazing, but progress is progress. I also posted the first part of something I've been working on for a few months.

Got a little bit of writing done. Yay!

And, oh yes. I've had stories I thought would get *oodles* of comments and then got *nothing*. I may also have bad posting-time-karma. I always seem to post and then have a bunch of people post right after me, pushing my stories way down into the hinterlands.
