I want to start the week on an upbeat note, so today's discussion topic is: What are you aces at with respect to writing? Dialogue, plot, porn, whatever it is that makes you feel proud and on top of your game.

For me, I often get on a dialogue roll, which is an amazing feeling, having the characters banter in my head.

Time out due to headache and general monthly unwellness ...

I think my strength is more coming up with detailed and hopefully interesting plots and some canons that I do write well (meaning I often get comments that the character felt true/real).

I still need to improve a lot on dialogue, porn or even pacing, grammar and such. A lot also depends on how much I can visualize the scene or what is going on in the character's head. Sometimes dialogue comes easy, sometimes the tone feels off and then it is really hard work and I am never completely happy with the results.

I'm good with dialog and internal monolog. I'm also good at writing from the point of view of an unsympathetic character and keeping them unsympathetic while making them understandable.

That's great, particularly the unsympathetic character bit. I must admit, I am not good at that.
