Today's discussion question: Do you have a preferred genre to write? It could be anything-- case fic, curtain fic, science fiction, angst, anything. Are there any genres you can't write at all?

I tend to like writing character pieces with some introspection. I don't do it all of the time, however. I also write angsty stories fairly often but, again, not all of the time. I can't write fluff of humor to save my life.

A total of 444 words for me today. I started my small het bang and added about 100 words to my other bang which seems to have got things moving again so I'm more than happy with that.

Most of what I've written recently has been casefic (or the equivilent for the genre). I think I like it's my favourite at the moment because it does allow me to have character stuff weaved in - I find that harder to write on it's own. I used to be really good at fluff, that was mainly what I wrote, but I haven't really done much lately. Humour depends entirely on the character but it usually feels like pulling teeth.
