I keep intending to write and sleeping instead. I think I need more caffeine (or possibly sugar). I have an exchange fic to write, so I need to get my act together quickly.
Today's discussion question: Do you have a preferred genre to write? It could be anything-- case fic, curtain fic, science fiction, angst, anything. Are there any genres you can't write at all?
I tend to like writing character pieces with some introspection. I don't do it all of the time, however. I also write angsty stories fairly often but, again, not all of the time. I can't write fluff of humor to save my life.

Date: Friday, May 10th, 2013 10:46 (UTC)Most of what I've written recently has been casefic (or the equivilent for the genre). I think I like it's my favourite at the moment because it does allow me to have character stuff weaved in - I find that harder to write on it's own. I used to be really good at fluff, that was mainly what I wrote, but I haven't really done much lately. Humour depends entirely on the character but it usually feels like pulling teeth.
