Today's discussion question-- Do you write in the same genres and such that you like to read? That is, if you read hurt/comfort, do you also write it? If you write character backstory a lot, is it something you seek out when you read?

For me, it's some yes and some no. For example, I like to read and write epically long divergent AUs, but, although I love to read time travel stories, I've never written one.

A lot of the genres I like to read in massively intimidate me? I wouldn't know where to begin with an omegaverse fic, frex.

The closest thing I did to writing was to upload my current writing projects to Google Drive so that I could access them with my new smartphone. We'll see if having my WIPs in my pocket helps me get anything done when I'm away from my computer!

My reading is mostly character based, so in that sense, what I like to read is also what I like. It's probably six of one, half dozen of the other.
