WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Wednesday

It's Wednesday, and we're halfway through the week already!  How are you making use of your time today for writing?

For Discussion:  What is one thing today that is discouraging about your writing?  What is one thing that is encouraging?

Writing? Nothing doing. :-/ My discouraging thing for the day is that I am having serious trouble getting motivated. I have a number of Real Life projects hanging over me and the thought of them is preventing me from diving into writing -- but I'm not doing them either.

The encouraging thing is that there are still lots of hours left in the day to make a change -- and I have a day off tomorrow! \o/

Yesterday I wrote a lot and when I was finished I had over 4800 words between two fics, so I'm quite pleased with that and today I haven't done much writing but I have been reading through what I wrote yesterday as well as looking over what I had already written for a stalled fic and finding that I can actually finish it at some point. I also did a little science related research and made my brain cry because it was more technical than I anticipated.

The one thing that was discouraging was not being able to understand everything I found and read for the science research. The one thing that is encouraging is knowing that I don't need to change too much on a stalled fic to be able to finish it.
