Today's discussion question: Do you have a specific place where you like to write? What about it works for you?
I used to write in our basement, at the desk down there. I can't use that space any more because it's full of junk that we need to get rid of. That leaves me writing in the living room which doesn't work as well because there are too many distractions. I need to learn to write while my daughter's around.

Date: Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 08:26 (UTC)I either write at home or I'll take a small notebook and head to the beach for a while. I can't always write when I'm at my mum's though because both her and my step-dad hover and it can be rather off putting.

Date: Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 12:33 (UTC)I seem to do my best work in our apartment's 2nd bedroom where I have my computer set up. It's a bit distracting because my desk isn't as neat as it could be, but otherwise it's a good place -- I'm out of the line of sight of anyone walking around the apartment, and the TV in the other room is not distracting.
