Do you write exclusively for one fandom or have a fandom you return to over and over? What about that fandom appeals to you?
I write a lot of stories for Weiss Kreuz, and this year, I've written several Chronicles of Narnia stories. Weiss Kreuz appeals to me because there are so many holes in the canon that I can fill them in however I want. Of course, I'm most familiar with early canon and know next to nothing about the most recent stuff (Side B has never been released in English, and I can't follow scanlations at all), so I tend to diverge from canon to go AU. I think, largely, that I just like the possibilities of the characters. Narnia appeals for different reasons. The canon covers such a span of time and has so many minor characters and gaps that there's a lot of room to play. I've been reading Ana Mardoll's deconstructions, and I find the things that come up there intriguing.
