Greetings on Tuesday!  How is the writing going today?
  • I thought about my fic once or twice
  • I wrote
  • I did some planning and/or research
  • I edited
  • I've sent my fic off to my beta
  • I posted today!
  • I'm taking a break
  • I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Discussion: Thinking back to Sunday when we talked a bit about stalled fics -- when you get an email or a comment about your stalled fic from a reader who is wanting an update/new chapter/continuation of the story, does that encourage you to start working on that story again?  Or does it apply unwanted pressure to an already difficult situation?  (Assuming that there are definite reasons for why a fic is stalled in the first place.)

It's Tuesday, and for me, that means I'll just be happy to make it through the day in one piece, so I don't expect there to be any writing going on today.  If I have anything left at the end of the day, I may manage to to do some canon research (i.e., watch anime).  As for stalled fics, I find it encouraging to see that people are still following my stalled fic, but it's always a shock to realize how long it's been since I last updated.  I try to comply with continuing the story, but it does add pressure that isn't always helpful.  For the most part, though, it's helpful to me to be reminded to get back into it, because even though my fics are stalled or slow to progress, they aren't abandoned.
