WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 17 -- Sunday

Greetings! linaewen here again for another week of encouragement and discussion about our writing (or lack thereof) during this month of August.  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  When you are on vacation, do you take your writing with you?  Or are you also on vacation from writing?

I take my writing with me in the hopes of having time to write for a change -- but vacation often brings a whole different set of things that interfere with my writing time.  I'm heading into a week of time away from work (though I'm not sure I'm ready to call it a vacation), and I really hope I can get some writing done during that time!
