Hello on Friday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  Do you have a character who acts as your muse, who "speaks" to you more than others or tries to have a say, even when the fic isn't about them?

I do have a character who acts like a muse -- less so now, as I am expanding my writing to include other characters, but when I was writing exclusively about this character, I liked to refer to him as my muse. I have experienced different characters trying to "take over" the story when the fic isn't about them; it's usually a good idea to at least make notes, because the ideas are often intriguing!
