Discussion: abandoning a wip. I know that at some point we have all put a WIP on hold for a period of time, or have abandoned it completely for a variety of reasons. Have you ever put a WIP on hold? Have you ever abandoned a WIP?

I only have one WIP which is my chapter fic Let Me Fade and although I'm not abandoning it because I have some new chapters typed and ready to post along with some that are handwritten posting is taking a back seat. I have put it on hold for the time being as part of the story involves somethings that happened recently within my private life and it's those events made me decide to take a break from it. Although I've posted the fic to DW and AO3, it's the AO3 version that has an 'on hiatus' note beneath the summary.

That made more sense in my head.
