Discussion: difficult scenes. When you have a scene that is difficult to write, how to do you get it done? Do you talk about it with others? Do you leave it and work on something else? Something that I haven't mentioned?

When I get to a difficult scene I try to work on it for a while but I find that I can only come back to it after working on something else.

I actually haven't started my day properly yet, but since I don't have any plans and today is for relaxing, I intend to spend part of it organizing my various writing projects and doing some research on the most recent thing I've signed up for. That seems like a relaxing thing to do! If I get motivated, I may even write!

I have to go away from something when I am stuck. Working on something else usually gives me the jog in the brain I need or another possible idea to try to get me unstuck.
