Discussion: Exchanges and other challenges.

Some of you mentioned in the comments yesterday that you're doing Yuletide and other seasonal challenges. So, probably an obvious question tonight, what festive challenges are you working on? Are you doing a non festive challenge? Something else?

I'm not doing any of the seasonal challenges as they aren't my thing but I am working on a big bang fic and the rough draft issue by the end of January, and of course Let Me Fade which is for a bingo and is going quite well considering the hiatus.

I'm doing just Yuletide now. I try not to work on other exchanges around this time, because I do love the small fandom focus on Yuletide, and I'm in a few small fandoms myself. I also feel like I could end up doing too much if I work on other exchanges that run when Yuletide's running.

I'm doing a Yulefic exchange in a Lord of the Rings community. It's an annual event in that community, and I've participated for the last five years. I enjoy it, even though it's a bit of a challenge sometimes because it's a busy time of the year. I also volunteer to pinch hit for the exchange, so some years, I've ended up writing two stories.
