Discussion: music. Do you need music on when you write? Do you prefer silence? Other background noise?
I usually have music on so it's not too much of a distraction for me and other background noise is okay as long as it isn't a TV because I tend to stop what I'm doing and watch. I can't work in silence at all because it makes me twitchy and I'm not sure why.
