Discussion: typing up fic. When you handwrite a fic do you type it up straight away? Do you leave it for a while? Do you just type everything?

I've spent most of the day typing up some handwritten fics that were in one of my notebooks. I still have two to type up but that can wait.

Generally when I handwrite fic I try and get it typed up as soon as possible but sometimes I do forget about them. Sometimes I can type a fic in one sitting but I find it difficult to concentrate for long periods of time.

I write by hand when I do prewriting, usually, unless it's really involved. I enjoy writing a full story by hand, but it's so much faster to type that I usually just do that instead. (That, and I'm getting a bit older, these days, so my hands hurt if I write longform for too long.)
