Comments are always great but Kudos make me really happy. It shows, to me, that someone read my fic and enjoyed it a lot. It's literally the easiest thing to do to say you like someone's hard work. Sadly, Just like comments, I don't think enough people click that little button. When I look at [someone else's] fic that has over a 1000 hits but like 12 Kudos and it's really well written or highly enjoyable, I just shake my head sadly in disappointment (and give them a well earned Kudos!).
But yeah, Kudos are awesome as hell and more people should give them.
