Been a good week for writing. Sitting at almost 4,000 words in total. Got interrupted by a bout of sickness (... I hate stomach bugs), but I am back in the saddle now, I think.

A couple more drabbles in certain comms. Not quite done on the WTNV bunny. I keep having the urge to footnote it like Discworld, because Night Vale makes my thought patterns do strange things.

Carlos was a child born full of curiousity, and curiousity was a dangerous thing. Everybody knew what it did to cats, after all (Night Vale had a very low stray cat population as a result, and other pets were generally far more popular. Lizards, for example. Lizards didn't tend go pouncing on things because they twitched, then batting it around until they found out the small twitching thing was an extra-dimensional being that became MUCH LARGER when paying attention to that one dimension in which a persistent feline was annoying it, bringing with it the potential for untold levels of destruction, and raising your insurance premiums accordingly. They also didn't wake you up in the middle of the night, because, spontaneous evolution of opposable digits aside, it was far more satisfying to make the resident humanoid get up and open the door for you.)
