WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Sunday

Greetings! linaewen here to serve as your writing encouragement person for what remains of the June WIP Challenge.

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Discussion:  It's the final week of the June Challenge.  Did you have any particular goal you were trying to hit this month?  How did you do?  Is there anything you will concentrate on this week in order to finish the writing month well?

I'm taking an enforced break, due to being sick. I definitely need to concentrate on writing something this week, so that I don't go three months without producing anything longer than 50 words! This has been a difficult writing season, and it doesn't look to be getting any better anytime soon -- but that makes it all the more important to do what I can! This week I will be concentrating on a short fic I already have an outline for and some scribbles on scrap paper, a fixed-length fic of 110 words, and a third prompt that has the look of being something I can whip up in a few hours if I apply myself.

No writing as yet but I'm away back to work in a bit so it's likely tomorrow when I can get something done. My brain is just about to give up.

I wanted to post my exchange fic and I did but I had to get an extension just before deadline because my beta took longer than expected to get back to me.

I still have my unconventional courtship fic to finish that's due on Thursday but there isn't too much left to do. I also have a pinch hit fic to do for not prime time, for that I need a canon review because it's been ages since I've worked with one of the requested fandoms.

Today has been a planning day. Trying to rally my energies for the week to come, but mostly just feeling the need to keep resting and stay on top of my health. Potentially a great story yet to happen, but ... probably not today.

My goal (from another writing comm) is 10,000 words for June. Almost there. My only gripe for the month is that I have found no pinch hits that tickle my fancy at the (surprisingly large number of) challenges available.
