WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!   Sorry to miss yesterday, I didn't remember to post until it was basically too late, oops!  Anyway, today is a new day.  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday or the day before, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Wednesday Discussion - I am moving in the next two months to a larger place where I can have an office/writing area all to myself.  What are some things about your own favorite writing area that make it a good place for you?

Well, I think I'm done planning, so now I'm thinking about what to do with those plans. Feeling pretty tired again, so not a lot of writing's happened today. :-| Got to get some more rest tonight, I think.

My "office" is a seat at my dining room table, though it's really wherever my laptop is, so ... it's usually a good place to be because I can sit there and compose whenever everybody else at home is asleep. (Surprise! That's usually one of my most productive times.)

I thought about my fic way too much in bed due to insomnia, and I'm now struggling to turn off my inner editor and put all those thoughts to paper. I woke up earlier than usual due to rl, so I think I might have time to actually manage a paragraph before lunch.

I've long given up on having an ideal writing space since I moved in this house. I have to share my room with my sister and she's still in high school, so she gets priority on the desk, plus I haven't had a computer that's my own and that is convenient to use for writing (I have one that's very slow and I can't stand anymore, so now I write on notebooks on the kitchen table and the family pc, which doesn't let me isolate as much as I would).
