WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 5 -- Monday

Hello on Monday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or research
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Monday Discussion - I read a blog where someone gave advice about writing, suggesting it is good to read your fic aloud as part of the editing process.  Do you ever read your fic aloud -- to yourself or to anyone else?

I did a bit of writing yesterday, but I haven't really moved forward very far in any of my fics. Here's hoping today brings more success!

I do not read my fic aloud. I do tend to kind of read it to myself in my head to make sure my sentences aren't too cumbersome, but that's not exactly the same. I have a writer friend who swears by reading aloud, but I haven't tried it yet.

Completed and posted the last Faith the Vampire Slayer episode. Weakest one of the lot, but 'tis better to publish before perishing. Now to decide what to work on next.

I also read it in my head. Every so often I write something that sounds good out loud.

I usually read my fic aloud after I'm done line-editing, yeah. It helps me catch weird-sounding sentence structures and typos.
