WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 23 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Wednesday Discussion: Do you have an idea that you keep coming back to but never actually finish developing enough to start writing it?

I wrote up an outline yesterday, and did some thinking and planning.

I have several ideas that I keep coming back to -- one I have been toying with for years and years, but I can't really get past the idea stage (yet I don't want to let go of it). Another idea was just an idea in my writing folder for a long time, until I wrote up the outline for the first chapter (yesterday's outline, in fact!). Maybe it will get out of the idea stage and into the WIP stage now.

I wrote 500 words yesterday on the new WIP I decided to start. I kept the original plan of a boarding school AU centered on autistic!Jisoo/asexual!Moonbyul and added in a Victorian-esque setting (i.e. whatever Victoriana I can remember or find with minimal research) and the fact that the school is secretly a school for spies. Considering my usual problem is having too much happen with too few words, I'm pretty proud of myself that in 500 words all I've done is gotten one of my heroines into a coach and on her way to the academy.

I have two ideas that I keep coming back to but never actually start writing:
1. A ST:TNG restaurant AU fic. (Just try telling me you can't picture Wesley Crusher as a hipster bartender mixologist.)
2. A Hogwarts AU fic featuring the characters from Pristin's video for "Wee Woo" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLfHuClrQdI)

Still planning. I know what I need to do, but I need more sleep first. -_-

And unfinished ideas are pretty much the entirety of my writing back catalogue, but I do chip away at it.

I'd been toying for literally a decade with an idea of a Narnia/HP crossover in which Susan changes her name after the train crash and becomes a Hogwarts professor. Never got around to writing it, and I doubt I ever will.
