WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 16 -- Saturday

Hello on Saturday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

I've done a bit of editing today, and some research for a fic idea that seems promising. That's probably all I'll manage until possibly later this evening!

I finished my fandomweekly entry last night/this morning, which I'm counting as today for writing purposes! I also made myself a list of things to work on this afternoon once I go get my coffee--we'll see how that goes, but at least I have a plan.

Today is mostly going to be working on longfic parts, I think--I have a couple things in progress that I want to get going on again.

Did a little writing, we'll see if more happens. Tomorrow is mostly already filled up with other-stuffing.

I'm thinking my stories would definitely be longer, and might be better, if I could keep myself from exponentially accelerating the pace of things as they progress. It starts out nice and moderate, and by the time I get to the end it's practically invisible.

I actually finished and posted one of my WIPs yesterday, and have written a lot of notes and dialogue snippets for another today. I haven't had such a productive weekend in forever!

No time to write today - I was at an all-day Sacred Harp singing and have food to prep for the one tomorrow this evening… but I wrote at least 200 words on one of my Rookie Blue WIPs yesterday! (It feels so good getting it moving forward instead of stalled.) And I started jotting notes and some general plot ideas, too. :D Hopefully I'll be able to plot it out more fully. (The crazy thing about that one is I already have the chapter titles planned - I just have to write the fic to fit them, lol.)

I am back in town! And I was not expecting to write today, but I did, so that is a good thing. Amazing how big a difference a little extra sleep makes.
