I think I missed the first day of summer in my part of the world. Rain must have washed it away. What have you been doing?

Wrote quite a bit, though I'm supposed to be focusing less on fanfic and it's not happening! Oops.

I only had time to review my notes today, but at least it was related to writing and my fic!

I have wondered in the past if it might be good to add an option for canon review? It's technically part of planning/researching, but it might be nice to have it be an option on its own.

I think I wrote yesterday? It's all been kind of a blur, thanks to some sudden things coming up at work, but I'm fairly sure I got some stuff done this weekend.

I think "Other stuff-ing" fairly well covers most of what I'd suggest, but I'll second the idea of Canon Review as something that could be included!

I've been creating worksheets and tackling household necessities, such as laundry, picking berries (we have a massive strawberry garden), washing dishes, etc. And trying not to spend time looking over the freeform noms for AUex and get Ideas that I don't have time to write (because if I have time to write, I have some WIPs that need finishing first!). But my brain keeps doing things like "ooh, a Soulmates AU for Sam/Andy would be fun!" me: "self, NO"

My life has been busy and stressful for a long time, and about to get more so. I lost my job earlier this month, and there are plenty of problems around my parents.

I drew back and confined my writing to just a few people, then down to two. Then I found neither were reading; one to stop me writing just slice-of-life, the other has other valid reasons.

Dreamwidth seems to be the only place of my journals where fanfic is actively written and actually read and accepted and critiqued if wanted. I haven't checked Insane Journal, though I have accounts, in a couple of years. I looked, but never found, the active fanfic groups I'd been told several times were there.

I'm trying to get up the courage to keep writing and start posting publically again. I hope to do so here as well.
