Question: Do you daydream about writing when you are not actively writing?

I have been outlining since I can't get myself in a writing mood.

I do daydream about writing! Often when I am trying to sleep and my brain feels free to focus on non-RL things.

So far today I have been reading about writing, which was actually helpful and motivating. My weekend starts after work this evening, so I am hoping to get back into the actual "putting words on the page" part of writing very soon.

I do daydream about writing all the time, I think it helps me keep in the groove a bit even if I can't manage an opportunity to write. Sometimes I even get good ideas when I daydream!

So hi! I'm new to the comm and I wasn't sure how to introduce myself so this seems like a great way to do it ...

Today, I've been at work, trying to take care of some scheduling things that need to be managed for the holiday. While waiting for people to get back to me, I've been playing around with a fic that wants to be written.

When I'm not writing, I often end up daydreaming of the main character as I'm moving through the day. So, I'm writing a Star Trek: TNG series right now and there's a lot of "Well, if this was Betazed, how would Deanna handle this ..." that circles through my head.
