WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 4 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I did some editing yesterday, and a bit of planning. Today hasn't gotten going yet, but there should be some good blocks of time today and tomorrow for writing. I'm thinking a writing marathon is in order, since I haven't really been getting much accomplished lately with my feeble poking at my fic, even when I have time!

My weekend is going to be like my week, unfortunately: Work, work, work. Have had very little time for writing, but I am going to keep working at making time.

Wrote over 1600 words on my more outlined WIP, so this chapter is at least 1/3 done if not halfway. More progress today than in the last week or two. We'll see if I end up posting this new chapter before I finish one on the other WIP, which is still mostly not outlined but whose structure is starting to come together more clearly.
