WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 23 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  Sorry for missing yesterday, I was traveling and had no opportunity to get to a computer.

What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Wednesday Discussion:  Is anyone considering doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November?  Or something similar?

So far I have not yet written this week, and I'm not sure how today will go as I am distinctly under the weather. However, I still have writing on my list of things to do today!

I doubt if I can actually manage NaNoWriMo, but I am feeling interested in making an attempt. I've not done it before, but I feel like I need something to challenge me to get some words written. I haven't officially signed up as yet, but I'm thinking about it.

Unexpected issues took priority for my time, mental attention and emotional focus, but I ended up making some progress on a WIP. Doubled the wordcount for the chapter and got it about one-third complete.

I've never done NaNo and doubt I ever will, as it's always felt like too much pressure. Part of the reason I'm posting these WIPs chapter by chapter, in defiance of my usual style, is to push myself to keep producing.
