Impromptu Writing Session

Would anybody like to join me for a spontaneous writing session, maybe some sprints? The room is writethisfanficsessions on AIM and I'll probably be there for a while. Hope to see some of you :)

Sorry, I can't seem to make AIM open the room for me - it only wants to create it so I can invite folks. Strange.

Hm, I don't know why that is. It should be working. Can I send you can invite, maybe?

Thanks but its bedtime in my time zone now. I'll try to work it out in the morning. There must be a window to enter the name of the chatroom into, but my version of AIM is newer than the one in the FAQ and doesn't look or behave the same.

Here's what I did:
To get into an existing chatroom using the latest version of AIM (7.5.8.2) alone,
I used the following:
Go to options menu (on its own in the top right)
Choose ‘New group chat’
In ‘Usernames to invite’ insert your own username
In ‘Chat Room’ insert the name of the chat: e.g., ‘writethisfanficsessions’
