Question: Do you get involved in organizing fanworks-related activities for others?

Oof, it's been a while since I checked in here! I've been thinking, writing a little, and doing some general planning. I'm hoping to work out a few story issues over the next couple days.

Other than moderating FandomWeekly, I don't get involved in a ton of fanworks-related activities; there aren't a lot for my specific fandoms currently, and I haven't decided yet if I have the time and energy to take on running exchanges or anything like that. I can pretty much manage to come up with weekly prompts (though I've fallen behind on that this month, whoops) and sometimes participate when something does come up.

Oh hell. I actually finished and posted a chapter. But I also spent the day refreshing the prompt thread for the Annual Femslash Kink Meme, and a total of eight prompts have let it be known to me they'd sure appreciate being written. The only thing saving me is I might be able to combine three of them into one.

I can barely muster up the time to participate in these things, let alone organize them for others. Glad I can still at least do that much.

I'm doing a lot of cooking today, but otherwise, I think I'll be able to get in some writing -- especially if I do it early on!

I am one of the mods who helps organize a Tolkien fandom activity that runs in March every year. I have been involved in one or two other things in the past, as well, but the March activity is the only one I'm currently involved in.
