I'm likely not starting anything new just now but I am getting the last couple of fics from earlier in the year posted to my comm and also crossposted to AO3.

I'm took a break yesterday and today, but I'll be starting up again tomorrow with planning my writing for the week. I've been goofing around lately with research and planning, but now I have to make the planning count and actually help me to get new words written on my fics! Want to eventually be writing a chapter that needs posting -- if not by the end of the year, then by the end of the week! ;-)

I was hoping to do some evening writing after handling chores, but I was hit with a surprise headache.

I'm trying to sort out the fragmentary single-scene draft I have extant before the January challenge starts. So far it's an exercise in Why Writing In Nonchronological Order Will Definitely Bite You In The Ass -- there are so many emotional threads running through this very choreographically involved sex scene.

I'm also trying to condition myself to associate certain arbitrary sensory cues with Time To Sit Down And Write Now. Currently: four extremely fabulous costume jewelry rings that I never wear ordinarily, a swipe of BPAL's The Manuscript, and a giant thermal mug of Blackcurrant Breeze tea. We'll see.
