 Hello!
How is this writing day going?
- words happened
- life happened
- did something else related to writing
- took a break
- when will my muse return from the war?
Wednesday discussion question: Was there anything you wished in one of your works that feedback would have called attention to but no one did? Imagine that i do ask about you right now and let's talk about that moment in the replies.

I haven't started my day yet, but I am feeling a bit like "when will my Muse return from the war?" today!

One time I remember wishing someone had noticed something and told me was when there was a detail given about a direction when describing a scene and readers familiar with the location in the scene should have picked up that it was written opposite of what it should have been -- as written it was impossible for the character to see what they were seeing. However, that is so nitpicky that I doubt anyone paid attention that closely and they just enjoyed the visual description without actually analyzing it. Thankfully I noticed it myself at a later date and fixed it!

Too busy to write for a week, then the last two days been queasy and headachey. Please change today!

Here I was worried about one aspect of the locked room mystery, and I totally missed another -- I wrote bolts on the inside of a door, then forgot about it when I locked characters inside the room. World's biggest No-Prize for me.
