October WIP Challenge Check-In, Day 20

Hi, y'all. I'm rolling in late with this check-in so I'll keep it brief. If you haven't had a chance to pick a day for our writing sprint, please go here to vote. You can choose more than one day that works for you. Currently, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are tied for the most votes. If they remain tied on Friday, I'll allocate those four days next week for writing sprints. I'll also be putting up another poll for what time slots work best, so be on the look out for that on Friday as well.

There's no theme for today's check-in.

• Did you write today or do some planning? How are you feeling about the work you've gotten done on your WIP or the projects you've been focusing on this month?
• Do you need help untangling an issue in your fic? Or do you need a listening ear? Feel free to vent about how your writing is going.
• What inspires you to write or sparks your creativity when it comes to your WIPs/fan projects?

tbh I'm living for the weekend writing wise. I'm definitely not going to be making headway on anything until then, so I'm looking forward to being able to put aside some time to write and, hopefully, plan as well.

Music is a big inspiration for me. I'll hear a song and instantly know what pair I want to write for and what the story should be. It's something that excites me and frustrates me lol because so many plot bunnies, so little time.

Nothing yet but it'll happen. So far this month I've gotten about as much done as I thought I would, maybe a little more. Thankfully I'm over all the major issues. Now it just needs more of an audience! Still hoping the Dexter revival next month will bring more readers.

I have no idea from where inspiration strikes. It always seems to come out of nowhere. "Hey, what if..."
