Since it's (almost) the end of the month, tell us something about the fics you've been working on in September. Are you happy with the progress you made? Did you gain any new insights into your writing process or the characters in your story? And is there something about your work this month that you're particularly proud of?

I'm still on break and finding it difficult to get back into writing mode. :(

The fics I was working on are still in progress unfortunately as I lost steam somewhere mid-month.

Meh. I wrote some new words for the scene that needs to be rewritten but I'm not quite sure how to feel about them. Need more time to think.

This whole month was rather meh. There was progress, but it was all very slow and tedious. The shiny has worn off a little. Good thing though: There's a long weekend ahead.

No writing today. Have spent most of the afternoon/evening printing off notes for my sociology and ethics lectures. Was fun sorting that lot out *not* (should not have taken all of last year off).
Depending what the workload/reading list is like after tomorrow's lectures I might try and write something, even if it only stays in my notebook it'll be something but we'll see.


I posted new fics for the first time in ages (about 3 months) so that for me is progress :) I have a little insight for my huge WIP fic - L&O: SVU fandom, granted after the mess that was Scorched Earth, I'm kinda glad I'm taking the route I am with it (I don't want to tempt fate by saying too much *soz*) :) and I have a slightly different perspective for one of the main characters in my smallfandombang fic which is good because it keeps the whole thing within gen. This month I'm just kinda proud that I got some new works posted.

Haven't done any kind of writing today. All my time on the computer today has been spent organising. I keep wanting to go back to my fic, but... I've been busy, sigh. :(

The first half of the month went really well - I actually finished a fic, which I haven't done in over six months. It's not edited yet... but it's written, and it's over 10,000 words long, which is kind of a lot for me. :D The second half... well, I got insanely busy with preparing for university, which, um, I probably should have expected that, lol.

Just got started on a new multi-chap! My usual method is to post-as-I-go, putting up each chapter as it's finished - but when I run into RL problems, or a lack of inspiration, it creates long lag times that I know some of my flisties aren't happy with. So this time, I'm going to finish it, then post the chapters over the course of a few days. Crossing my fingers that the writing doesn't take too long!

Thoughts about what I got done this month? I'm very pleased with all of it - it was a very productive month. Our season premiere was great, very inspirational, and I'm feeling like the momentum can continue into October. No new insight into characters or process, but knowing that I can keep going with the writing in this fandom, full steam ahead, has me tickled pink.

Well, able get close to 1100 words (I did 500 words before I went off to work and another 600 words after) of my Big Bang fic! Political talk almost over, woo! XD Also, posted the fic my two friends had looked over. No reviews yet, but hopefully I'll get at least one.

For September I had been working on my Big Bang and a couple other short stories. I'm particularly proud of my Big Bang so far as lots of political stuff going on and my beta had been a HUGE help on that. I'm also proud of one of my short stories as I haven't written anything from that fandom in a while.
