WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 14 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and that means a fresh start.  Maybe last week wasn't the greatest for getting writing things done -- what kind of goals do you have for starting off fresh this week?

I was on vacation the last two weeks, and even though I had a great restful time, I did not even think about writing for some reason! Maybe because I was out of my regular routine, and I often do better with some pursuits when I am in my regular routine. Anyway, I need to get back to my writing goals, so this week I will review what I wrote most recently, tweak my outline for the next chapter, and then do some brainstorming and maybe some research as needed. That should get me going again!

I've been writing today... but not on the story I really must finish!

I think I've finally had a new idea that feels worth writing. Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul are incredibly intimidating to write for, but this idea looks like a good one.

I finished the next chapter yesterday, editing it this morning. AND, on a long walk, I figured out how many chapters are left (this is much easier when POVs are switched each chapter) and how I'm going to wrap it up. Finishings are hard for me, so this is a great breakthrough. I MADE myself sit back down after my walk and outline everything in my head!
