Discussion: as we're at the start of a new year, what goals are setting? is there something specific you want to work on?

My main goals are to work towards my word count at inkingitout, work on three WIPs (all at various stages) and aim to post at least one, start posting one and update a stalled one.

Mostly I'll be working on the three WIPs, finishing off my prompt tables and building a habit of writing or making something for most of fan_flashworks prompts even if it means waiting to amnesty rounds to post.

I have a 75k goal set for the year so I'll mostly be word count-oriented. Other than that, nothing specific really, but I'm just hoping to explore/experiment (e.g. with word length, writing style, fandoms out of my comfort zone) and participate in more exchanges/bangs/etc.

In 2023 I started writing again after an absence of several years. So my goal for 2024 is really just to keep going. I am almost done with a nice, long Stargate SG-1 story and I have an even longer one on the back-burner. After that…who knows?

I have a standard wordcount goal of 75,000 for InkingItOut, but this year, I'm doing the lowest habit goal for Get Your Words Out (120 days of writing). I'm trying to hold off on signing up for exchanges (no, not even the fun ones!) in an effort to remember what it's like to write on my own schedule and for my own enjoyment.

I have set myself a goal of 75k words for the year. I went way past that last year, but I'm hoping that I can make them a bit more focused this year. I have a few fics holding over from a summer challenge that I need to finish, and then I'm hoping to just find SOMETHING that holds my interest to work on!
