I may have written the very first Granite Harbour fic and yep, it's for the current prompt over at fan_flashworks and I'm aiming to post it before I get onto my block of nightshifts in midweek.

I also have a fic to type up for my BILWY(IL...) series at some point too, I restarted the two I was prodding at because the weren't working too well and finished handwriting the tattoos fic first.

I'm writing a long Profiler fic - very Sam/Bailey. Fandom is dead as a doornail so my one hope for fandom-specific help has been an online friend I convinced to watch the show. She's a dozen eps behind me but is past where my WIP diverges from canon, so all's good there. I'm making myself write at least one scene (or part of one - I fell asleep before I finished the scene last night, lol) per day so I stay in the writing mindset. Fic's 26.1k and growing - longest thing I've written yet, so we'll see if I can manage to get it completed. *crosses fingers*

Good luck finishing your fic, that's quite the wordcount!! :D And wow I haven't heard about this show in years (decades?? I just watched it when it was on at the time!), it's neat to see fans carrying it on :D

Oh, it's such a wonderful show! (Well, S1 and S2 are. I have Opinions about S3 and haven't gotten to S4 yet. my fic diverges from canon starting in S2 and ignores S3 entirely.) I fell HARD for Sam/Bailey early on and have seven fics already posted for them, plus a fanvid tribute to the ship. The current WIP's a mix of heavy emotions, plot, and bits of humor sprinkled throughout, and I'm having so much fun writing it. I just wish there were still fans around to *read* it, lol.

My goal for the week is to finish the edits of the first chapter of a fantasy novella, and after that I'm not too sure although I think it will be back to fanfic for at least a few days :)

I wrote a little bit this week, but most of the week I spent throwing myself into a very fun fandom server where we all apparently share the same braincell and its dial is stuck on horny 24/7, lololol. It's been great for my socialization and idea sparking, but Actually Terrible for my writing and getting things done.

I have 5 ficlets to do this week (one/weekday) all under 500 words. And one longer fic to finally finish.
