WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 14 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Sorry I missed yesterday's post, it turned out to be a crazy day, and I totally forgot to post! Anyway, looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I thought about my writing, but there was no opportunity to do anything with it yesterday, due to my crazy day. Therefore, today begins the weekend marathon of writing, since I have an imminent due date for my blog article! If I can apply myself properly to that marathon, then there still may be time left for a mini fic WIP marathon for fun!

Had a nicely productive sprinting session with a friend this morning and I'm really happy with the result :) May it continue over the weekend!!

I think I'm taking a break. I had a really great four days which made me not want to admit I have not been feeling it, at all. But alas, I am not.

Weekends are generally not great for writing, for me. Too many distractions!

I barely remember it but somehow I got another page or so written before I passed out in the chair.

I actually wrote yesterday *and* today! I still didn't finish the pinch hit that I picked up and wrote on both days, but sometimes that's what happens. I'll probably still finish it as a treat, at least.

Tomorrow will hopefully be mostly cleaning time to get my new desk and computer brought in and set up. Then I get to try and figure out Windows 11. x__x
