Hello on Monday! How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

I had to go in early for a half day of work, but I am home now and I am hoping to get some writing in this afternoon. I am aiming for more than 90 minutes -- we'll see how it goes! I did not get anything written yesterday, it was too crazy of a day and I was tired, so I just took a break from everything!

No writing today, dealing with some unpleasant work issues (even though I'm on leave!) and I watched all of season 2 of Star Trek: Prodigy which has given me quite a few things to think about including for fic.

Had to deal with some irl stuff, so I didn't get to write today. I did finish a ficlet yesterday.

5~ word mood: could be better.

It's going alright. So far today I've written for about an hour before work, and now I'm trying to refocus for a nice long evening session. I feel optimistic.

I would say my (writing) day was so-so. Wrote some notes and started outlining a new fic, but actually putting it all down on paper made me realize there's more stuff to untangle than I was prepared for, and actual writing might have to wait a bit longer... In total I got about 1 hour of work on it all.

I haven't gotten any writing done yet (I've been at work all day and dealing with some IRL stressors), but I think I am going to try to do a half an hour of writing before I slide off the computer to read for awhile.

I feel okay. I'm always aware that on work days my creative energy might be drained. I do what I can.

Well, I didn't end up writing any fiction, but I did write over 1,000 words on tarot thoughts and feelings which I'll probably put up as a blog post/newsletter some time, so I'm counting it.

Not bad for busy days.

I spent a LOT of time on Monday writing very few words :D a struggle day, for sure!

I got about an hour worth of writing done before work on a long fic that's been on my "eventually" list for AGES, so I'm very excited about that. I'm off work tomorrow and I'm hoping that I can finish one of my short fics and maybe make more progress on the long one.
