I had a burst of productivity somewhere between 1 and 2 this morning and got a decent chunk of my planned planning done. Still some to do, but I'm excited that I'm drawing closer to actually getting to work on something!

Looks like the arthritis has gotten bad enough I can't write by hand any more, at least legibly. Not painful, just shaky/weak grip.

Ugh, I'm sorry that's something you're having to deal with. I've got early signs of arthritis in my hands, and sometimes I deal with the same thing, where the grip is just so weak I *can't* write, though for now that's fairly rare. I'm glad it's that rather than pain, but still not a great time. :(

Mostly it's not the end of the world, and I've always done most of my writing on keyboard, but I enjoyed getting back into pen and paper the last few years - sitting outside, much quieter, going anywhere with no batteries or outlets, etc.

I'm glad that it's at least not utterly disastrous - I do think that typing is usually easier than hand-writing, too. But having something as portable and available as pen and paper is so nice, I'm sorry that the option has been taken away from you.

Today was all work in the heat (under 100 degrees, but not by much). But we should have an almost full staff tomorrow, so with any luck it won't be as super busy. I'm hoping to get a smidgen of writing done, but that depends on if surviving work happens. 😵‍💫

Woof, that definitely sounds like a rough day! Too hot and too much! I hope that you were better staffed and managed to survive!
