It's going better than expected. I need one more scene, then I'm done with the 2nd draft. The 3rd draft for me is mostly just editing and adding a paragraph here and there so two weeks should be enough to finally finish this project.

It's not going as quickly as I'd hoped. I still have 6 days of writing left to hit my Get Your Words Out par for this month (though I am ahead by yearly count, so I'm not too worried). I always seem to overestimate how much writing time/energy I have in September, despite doing the same estimation every single year.

Goals for this week: Work on the two exchange fics I still have OR decide to drop them. We'll see which one happens first.

Current WIP (from much earlier in the year; non-exchange fic) for a Batman fic in which Jason has played a silly game and won himself the silly prize of chaperoning a Bruce/Dick date.

Finally, Jason had had enough.

Yeah, I definitely overestimate my available free time and energy for writing when setting goals, too, so I feel your pain there. But at least being ahead on your yearly goal gives you some leeway to work with.

Lol, you captured Jason's voice so well in the writing snippet you shared. Definitely feels like something he'd snap in frustration.

Aaah, thank you! I do so enjoy writing low stakes exasperation, and Jason is so often my go-to for it because if anyone would finally snap and say something, it would be him! lol
