I am thinking wistfully of my story outlines and wishing I had a block of time where I knew I could start writing something and not be interrupted. Today and tomorrow look pretty dismal for writing but I have high hopes for Sunday!

I am writing today. YAY. Not hard core, but getting bits and pieces on the page.

And, yes, I'm hoping to get some writing in this weekend along with a bit of yard work. :)

From "What Dreams May Come" a Ginny/Draco fic

“Do we really have to go?”

Ginny meet Draco’s gaze in the mirror. He stood behind her, tying his tie—the one she really liked, the one that made his eyes appear exceptionally dark gray. His long-sleeved dress shirt was one of her favorites as well, light silver gray and soft to the touch. She straightened and turned. Rising on her tip-toes she pressed a series of kisses up his neck and along his jaw, stopping at his mouth. “No . . . we could stay home and engage in a repeat of last night or this morning.”

His hands spanned her waist and tugged her closer. His eyes flicked down her body. “Really?”

She wanted to laugh at his relief. “Of course, really. But don’t be surprised if my whole family ends up in the bedroom watching. Or if your arms and legs are broken and you end up being hexed at least a half-dozen times.”

Draco blanched. Ginny laughed.

Haven't got anything done fic wise today. Uni stuff not just the coursework took over.

I am planning on getting more of my big bang typed as well as getting some new scenes written too. We shall see.

Got 1000 words down on my Big Bang and actually wrote what is possibly the last scene of the story. I still need to write out one or two more scenes I skipped, but otherwise wee got the ending down.For this weekend planning to write out those skipped scenes and also some editing on one of the chapters.
