WIP Challenge Day 19, Saturday

Too much to do this weekend in terms of keeping the house and yard afloat, and other commitments. Maybe I will be able to squeeze in some writing time at some point, I hope, but it is looking dim.

This week has been a bit of a disaster zone and I'm shattered today. SO the plan for today is, get my 200 words in , possibly on my mccoy chapel exchange, and finish signing up for yuletide.

Tomorrow I'm taking part in fic_rush over on lj (technically it's all weekend but I'm too knackered today) where I want to get a fair few words written for the exchange fic and my outline for the big bang at least further forward.

Discovered today when I was organising snippets for the big bang that I'm already past the rough draft goal I set for this month! Am rather pleased at that.

I had a good day for the editing as I did about 45 mins intensive in a bookstore café. It was helped by the fact that their WiFi wasn't working so I didn't have option of doing my mail or surfing instead.

I also found a (really rather obvious) way of getting more words on the laptop screen for editing comment fic: tell the word processor that the page is landscape orientation. As it turns the page on its side, its more like the shape of the screen rather than the expected printed Letter/A4 page.

I'm pleased with my progress overall this week. I wrote something new and it has made the editing of the main fic easier rather than harder.

Though I don't know too many fandoms, I'd be happy to offer input to anyone who'd like me to read for them.

Got some more work done on my big bang fic earlier. Need to edit what I have so far because it's all in bits and bats at the moment. My plan for tomorrow, apart from finishing some of my uni work first thing, is to get more done on my big bang fic.

So it turns out I didn't really need an extra scene to finish of the last chapter of my Big Bang. I was trying to write out the skipped scene, wasn't working out for me. Instead I add what I wrote (with slight edits) to another scene I wrote last night. But yeah, ROUGH DRAFT OF BIG BANG DONE. I'll be concentrating my help_japan fic for the rest of NaNo and then I'll get started on revising my Big Bang.
