Sunday discussion:  Do you make a writing schedule for the week ahead?  Or do you just try to fit in writing where you can?

Despite having a fairly standard work schedule, I've never been able to stick to pre-planned writing times.  I might make it one or two days as planned, but invariably I'd have to work overtime, or come home too fried from work stress to write.  I'm currently between jobs, and while I'd thought that the more open my days, the more writing I'd get done, it does seem like I need some kind of structure or else I find myself playing mobile games all day.  Totally not what's happening while trying to post this, no, of course not...  I'm hopeful that the new job will provide the right scaffolding to plan more writing time, without the stress that kept me from thinking post-work.

I am not really crying but that's closest to the vibe :D very checked out for MUCH of today.

I don't really have a schedule except that I tend to do better writing in the morning. Once I'm tired, it's done for me. But agreed re: structure! My days are currently wide open and I imagined I'd get soooo much done the last month because of it! But I really do need some kind of imposed schedule to anchor things.
