WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Tuesday

 Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion:  What is your most productive way of getting your words out?  Writing on paper with pen/pencil? Typing/composing on a computer? Something else, such as dictation?

I am just getting started, but I have set aside some time to at least write a few paragraphs today.

My most productive way of getting my words out is on my computer. I used to do well with paper and pen, but I can't write fast enough to get my ideas down sometimes and then it is super messy! I still use it for making notes when I am away from my computer, so I always carry a small notebook with me. I haven't tried dictation as yet.

A little writing but not as much as I would have liked. Usually pen and paper just to get something written.

In terms of getting more words per time spent, typing. In terms of more reliably getting words actually physically written... slide-typing on my phone, followed closely by handwriting via fountain pen, then typing. I just wish any way was actually reliable right now.

I actually wrote yesterday! It'd been a few days. Hard work getting started again :D

Typing works for me! I'm too self-conscious to handwrite or dictate. I will immediately stall!
