Discussion time:  Do you ever consciously give yourself breaks from writing?  Maybe not just between projects, but even scheduled days of "no, we're going to do X instead"?  If you take writing break days/time, do you keep them writing-free or are they more along the lines of "if writing happens, that's OK, but it's not the Main Goal"?

I got a lot accomplished yesterday in the area of outlines but not much page progress. More like scissors and glue and finger paint time

My goal for 2025 is very much "if writing happens, that's OK, but it's not the Main Goal" :D I have to keep reminding myself of this when I look at my tiny word count lolol. That being said, I've written like four days in a row

Big same! I'm trying to tell myself that my GYWO 120 "writing days" goal is really more like "a neat idea" instead of a "do this or Die For Real" requirement.
