The editing was cutting a scene out when I realized it wouldn't work; while I was in the middle of writing. Probably not the best method, but hopefully that's the last time it'll happen (doubtful...).

I've definitely had that happen: sometimes writing the scene is the only way you realize that it *doesn't* fit! It's always a little frustrating, though.
