WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 2 -- Sunday

 Hello on Sunday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and the first Sunday in a new month. That means a fresh start! Maybe you had a great writing week last week, or maybe last week wasn't the greatest for getting writing things done -- what kind of goals do you have for keeping up your momentum or starting off fresh this week?

Basically, I thought about my fic once or twice. After being super successful with writing and finally posting a chapter about a week ago, I ended up not doing all that much that was productive on my WIP this past week. That's what fresh starts are for, though, and with a new month and a new week, I am ready to take advantage of started afresh on a new chapter!

My goals for today include reviewing my outline and testing it by trying to write for an hour and see if it holds up with some actual words!

Today (what’s left of it) is going to be an editing day. I got some feedback on a fic draft so I’ll be making those changes.

I wrote almost 500 words for my WIP, penned a few thoughts about worldbuilding, and worked through a chapter of one of my writing books.

Weekends always make me optimistic that I'll be able to keep a steady writing routine, and then Monday happens...

Next week is going to be more writing; I'm close to getting half way through the story. For the most part, my WIP is going well; I've written over 3,000 words within five days. Hopefully, the writing train keeps chugging along.

Although, I had to use references for locations (at least what the cartoon presented in one episode) to get general directions and how far apart the kingdoms are. I learned, judging by the map and castle models on the table in episode two, that Darkstorm and Leoric's kingdoms are a rock throw away from each other. How did I not notice that until now? :P

My muse finally awakened and gave me a plot! I haven't started writing, yet, but I will soon.
