Five words or less on how you're feeling about your fic:

& for discussion, an old topic but one worth coming back to (I think!): Procrastination. Tell me your favorite things to do to procrastinate, or just the most common things you do to procrastinate (they might not be things you actually would call favorites!).

Procrastinate? Oh, that's easy

Check my emails. Check my RP forum. Check my reading page... for the millionth time. Check my discussion forums. Check my RP forum again. Post an RP post. Post to my DW. Check my emails. Open fic, stare at page blankly, check RP forum/discussion forum/reading page. Grab a coffee...

Yeah, I procrastinate really well! :D

I failed my mini-nano yesterday and I don't think I'll be writing today either. The past week, I've been switching between fics without really getting anywhere, so I guess it's a good time for a little break.

As for procrastination: mostly tumblr. A lot of tumblr.

My favorite procrastination is reading other people's words. ::amused:: And I know I'm really desperate to procrastinate if the bathroom gets cleaned or the kitchen floor gets mopped.

::grinning:: Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for me), I'm rarely reading it critically! But it is fun.

Oh, yeah, the cleaning is practical but I hate scrubbing bathrooms. It's a bad sign.

Haven't actually written anything again. So even commenting here is procrastination at it's best. (I could just give up and go to sleep. But no, because that would be smart.)

Let's see... how do I "like" procrastinating?

Refreshing my emails. Refreshing DW. Refreshing LJ. Looking at picspams. Reading fic. Reading primers. Finding new blogs on tumblr to follow. Follow links all over the place. Read webcomics that do nothing bu make me angry about some people's ignorance and insensitivity. Post about how much I am wasting my time. Stop in the middle of writing fic to write a random, three page aside [like this] about something totally unrelated but which seems like a REALLY IMPORTANT DISCOVERY ABOUT MYSELF at the time. Find and install new and exciting productivity software. Read blogs about productivity. Lolcats and other memes. Or I might phone my family or my girlfriend, which usually results in up to four hours of talking. If my internet is broken I reorganise my pic folders. And possibly my music library. And likely spend a couple of minutes cursing at the 6 GB worth of unsorted files in my "chaos" and "downloads" folders. If I'm not on the computer for whatever reason, I'll doodle lines all over my sheet of paper. Or decide that I need to make a prettier version of my schedule right now (never mind about tiny details like not having a ruler with me). Or I'll decide that I need to calculate how many different pairings could possibly exist amongst a group of a particular size. And once I have done that, of course I need to actually write them all out. And then color-code them. Or maybe I'll decide that I need to clean the wash basin right now, even though the cleaning lady cleans it every week. Or...

As you can see, I am quite inventive when it comes to procrastination. (I wish that all that imagination would transfer over into fic-writing.) This post, for instance, successfully helped me procrastinate another 10 minutes or so, which means that it is now 2 am and I can justify going to bed instead of starting my homework. Brilliant, isn't it?

I did a bit of critiquing today and a bit of editing, and I mean minor stuff like spell checker etc on my own WIP. I'm trying to get to it now...

The most ironic for me to procrastinate is to do work. Stuff that I could do whenever, but suddenly it becomes important that it get done. :|

Around 630 words on my help_japan fic. Bleh, unsure how I'll approach the action scene. Guess I'll mull over that a bit first before I try to get back to writing.

Five words or less to describe my fic: ACTION SCENES ARE HARD.

Haha, I'm quite bad at procrastinating. Tumblr, LJ, Twitter, Dreamwidth, read fic, watch anime, Facebook, read business news, and snack mostly.

A few scribbles for my big bang but nothing significant :S but as soon as I've got my head around the maths part of my research coursework I'll be doing a lot more work on my big bang.

When I procrastinate I usually just hit refresh on LJ and DW, annoy twitter and sometimes look at facebook (even though I hate it) or I'll go for a walk. Depends.

It can be brilliant but sometimes the weather here isn't good for going out.
