Still revising, but not much progress. I've received two critiques back and am contemplating the comments made.

Discussion topic...I enjoy creating something, adding something to a fandom. I also love it when I write something and just *know* it's good.

Did about 800 words of one of my WIPs that I am most wanting to finish but, of course, is giving me lots of trouble. Still, progress, sorta kinda???

I enjoy telling stories that no one else is telling -- I realize that makes me sound like a special snowflake, but since I'm in all small fandoms & often go for rare pairings, sometimes it really is stuff that no one's going to write. :D I've also really been enjoying being able to write things for my friends; when I first started writing fic I didn't have fandoms in common w/lots of people, but now I do, somewhat. & Kaleidoscope in general was awesome for giving me opportunities to write for my friends!

Sounds like progress to me!

I enjoy that a lot, too. (I don't think it makes you sound special snowflakey). It's nice to be able to come up with an idea that hasn't been done before, or put a new twist on an old cliche.

Managed both researching (and managing to alter the plot according to what I found) and get about 400 words of very rough draft written.

Got a lot of writing done on my big bang today and was on a roll until the fire alarm went off a couple of hours ago. Quite pleased with the progress from today. Not sure what my word count is though.

I like doing things that others aren't doing, most of my fandoms are quite small these days but in the bigger fandoms I write the unusal/rare pairings rather than the pairings that everyone writes.

I've had a really bad week of Real Life Busy, and today was the first day I had any time to even think about writing. I almost didn't bother, but made myself sit down and open up some of my files. I needed to figure out an idea for a Yule fic challenge, and I was actually able to do that -- and got some research done on it, too. So that's definitely progress, even if it's small progress.

Writing allows me to add in things that got passed over in canon, and spend time with characters that didn't get as much time as I wanted in the story. I also enjoy creating my own characters and have them fit comfortably into canon in such a way that I forget they weren't there in the first place!

I wrote 200+ words for my [community profile] white_lotus assignment! It's halfway to minimum word count now (but nowhere near done)!

My favorite thing about writing is putting characters together and seeing how they interact. The easiest thing for me to do, I've noticed, is to let characters talk. I usually have to go back and put narration in.

I didn't write much today, but I was so productive yesterday that I don't mind. Besides, the few sentences I did manage to write were very important sentences. I was also able to do a little research, which was both unexpected and nice.

The thing I enjoy most about writing? That's a hard one. I like creating things and the sense of accomplishment that comes from that. I also like the way I seem to benefit mentally and emotionally from writing. I don't know why it happens, but the day after a productive writing session, I'm bulletproof.
