Hello! Happy(ish) Tuesday!
How did writing go today?
-Amazing!
-Pretty good!
-Moving along!
-Mostly brainstormed!
-Mostly edited!
-Rested!
-Too busy!
Discussion question of the day: What's a piece of media you keep returning to?

Fakir's development in particular from start to end is wonderful, especially with his friendship with Duck.

Date: Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 05:35 (UTC)A new to me piece of media I
am obsessed withkeep returning to is a 1968 album "The Wozard of Iz—An Electronic Odyssey". It's basically a concept album parody that's very much a satire of American society of the 60s (hippies! consumerism! televangelism! all to a MOOG synthesizer soundtrack!). It's such a fascinating time capsule of the 60s and still upsettingly relevant today. I have not been able to stop thinking about it.(Note: I only know for Amazon Music, but it may be the same for other streaming sites, but the tracks are listed in the wrong order. I have made a Playlist to put them in the correct order. Because that's how obsessed I am.

Date: Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 15:44 (UTC)One album I return to often when I am stressed is Dan Gibson's Zen Relaxation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9XsTFaENA0).
I also like to listen to mynoise.net's Japanese Garden with the cicadas turned up loud!
