WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 2 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday!  I am declaring it the weekend a day early, hope no one minds!

Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

Have a great weekend with hopefully lots of writing happening!

Even though I have been writing a bit every day, I want to push forward and get a lot done on my WIP this weekend, so it's a marathon for me!

I’m still visiting fandom friends and I’m outlining/planning as well as getting some good beta notes back in real time.

I at least THOUGHT about my fic!! xD In that weird place of losing steam on it again, but gonna try to fight through it, especially since I'm so close to the end!

As far as the weekend, I'll be inside admiring the rainstorm, so I might sneak some writing in in between video games!! Good luck with the writing, everyone!! ❤️

Had to take a break today due to low spoons, BUT I did a quick outline of what I'm writing tomorrow. Decided to write a little with the goal of "anything but 0".

This weekend I'm aiming to add as many words as I possibly can.

I thought about my fic but didn't get a lot of actual words out (stymied amongst other things by my uncertainty as to what a letter of recommendation at this period would actually look like (no envelopes, I do know that much) and whether it would be written on paper or some kind of parchment -- probably paper by this point, but since I had no access to any kind of research while writing I was struggling to be carefully non-committal in the language I was using! There are a lot of letters being handed around in canon, but none of them, naturally, are ever described in detail, because everybody knows what 'a letter' looks like...)

I should probably do some research now before going any further :-p

I shall continue over the weekend at exactly the same rate as usual, which is to say that provided I make at least some progress daily I shall get somewhere and feel satisfied.

A person be struggling. I plan on trying to do a write-a-thon since I have so much time to myself.

I surprised myself by writing and finishing a short fic for day 1 of Drawlloween at lunch today! (Yes, it's the 2nd now, shhh, I'll catch up.)

Got my flu shot and COVID shot today, and have an early morning dentist appointment tomorrow (I am *very* good at planning, clearly x_x ), but I'm hoping to get a little more writing tomorrow at some point.
